They do take liberties with the art work including the Atari 2600 copy consoles, we all did not get 2600 consoles there were also cheaper copy consoles 😮

Mustache McGee is getting desperate. Remember those bundles of "physical products" they were selling a while back. Well now John is letting you buy them individually...for $25 a pop. He then erroneously advertises them as "boxed edition games" that are "available on Amico Home." There are no games in the boxes and almost nothing pictured is available on Amico Home. An RFID chip that tells a server that's no longer online, to download software to a console that is never coming out is not a "game" in any sense of the word.

This is considered to be the worst game released for the 2600.

Nice strategy! Loved this game as a kid. Took me ages to figure out what was going on properly & what everything was used for. Super Anion Beam, in the shop, still looks like a big blue sock!

Now here's a decade old throwback. Glad you are bringing it up. Here is the scoop and my experience. I ordered the physical and digital copies edition on Kickstarter. Here is what got... I have 12 physical copies (1-12) and a double of issue 11. That one I have opened. The duplicate of 11 was supposed to be a physical of 13 that I had to request they send to me because things were not going smooth at the end. Instead I got a duplicate of 11 despite several emails telling me they would send physical 13 even after the mistake. What a mess! So on the digital side, I have 11 digital versions. I have 1-10 and never had the option to download 11 or 12 which is odd. But, I have the digital version of 13 I got some time around the back and forth emails trying to get 13 physically. Yeah, crazy. They did not have it all together at the end. I'm glad I have what I do, but I feel it was a frustrating situation. 13 was an unlucky number!

Flicky is simple, like Zoom, but I like Flicky a lot more. I think the game play on Flicky is pretty standard for an arcade game, until you smack the tiger cat with a hammer and it tumbles off the stage. Good review. Pitfall Mayan Adventure is more inventive, but can leave something to be desired if you want tight control.

Remember being 11 or 12 and getting this for ~$10 @ KB Toys on a random weekday - turned out to be a lot of fun, remember it being a "good deal for a fun game" 🙂

This was one of my favorite Intellivision games back in the early 1980s. I remember what all of the monsters in the game are, and what they're like. I'll give you a quick review, straight from the manual: These monsters do not sleep: Bats--location, all mountains; 1 shot to kill; harmless, but makes flapping noises that prevent you from hearing the noise made by some monsters when asleep (snakes and dragons). Spiders--location, all mountains; 1 shot to kill; harmless and silent, but they steal your arrows on contact; every click you hear is an arrow lost. Blobs--location, all mountains; cannot be killed; the only monster you can see in the dark; will eat you up very quickly on contact, but slow and easy to avoid. These monsters sleep: Rats--location, gray (2) and red (1) mountains; 1 shot to kill; leaves a cluster of dots (probably droppings) in adjacent chambers to indicate its presence; silent when asleep, makes a shrill beeping noise when awake; in gray mountains, one guards a quiver of arrows, and the other one guards the exit. Snakes--location, red (2), gray (1) mountains, and (1) Cloudy Mountain; 2 shots to kill; makes an intermittent slurping noise when asleep, hisses when awake; in red mountains, one guards an axe, and the other one guards the exit. Demons--location, blue (2) and purple (1) mountains; 2 shots to kill; leaves a trio of marks resembling arrowheads in adjacent chambers to indicate its presence; silent both when asleep and when awake; in blue mountains, one guards a boat, and the other one guards the exit. Dragons--location, purple (2) and blue (1) mountains; 2 shots to kill; makes a snoring noise when asleep, makes a roaring noise when awake; in purple mountains, one guards a key, and the other one guards the exit. Winged Dragons--location, (2) Cloudy Mountain; 3 shots to kill; makes the same asleep/awake noises as regular dragons; each one guards a half of the Crown of Kings. Enjoy the game!

I didn't exactly grow up playing this one. I didn't even know it existed until I was in college when I played it on the Sega Smash Pack for PC. Still, the game grew on me and became a favorite arcade game of mine, right along with Mappy. My enjoyment of this game is also probably why I like Sonic 3D Blast too, since it does have a similar gameplay mechanic as Flicky.

At first, I thought this looked like a Master System game. … And then I saw the Maser System version.

Fun Fact: Flicky is the smallest ever ROM cart ever released on the Mega Drive/Genesis.

This budget game has been included on every Genesis compilation released by Sega since the PS2 era as I recall...I also seem to remember it having been a regular staple on the Sega Channel.

I had this game around 20 years ago when prices for complete-in-box Sega Genesis games were still cheap on eBay. I don’t have it anymore, but I loved it! I found it to be a charming and very addictive game.

I love Pitfall, I remember the gold and silver bars seemed so graphically awesome for some reason. I also felt when hitting barrels it was the most annoying sound. Such a simple time back then!

such a missed opportunity; Crystal Castles should have supported the Trak-Ball. it could have been a huge hit on the 7800 , if it was ported (Arcade Quality) ... it's a bit better than Marble Madness, because of the enemies.
